Two Simple Ways to Get Your Creativity Flowing Again

Whether you are a parent, a business owner, or a single person with a job, you need some motivation to get through life. What happens when you don't feel motivated anymore? It happens to all of us, okay, but let's not stay stuck there. Let's talk about getting motivated.

First, I’m going to tell you a secret about me. Are you ready?

Here’s my secret. Now, I know y'all see me going live on Facebook all the time…. but guess what, doing videos actually freaks me out. For real, y’all. I just don’t always like doing it and sometimes it’s hard for me to get motivated to do videos. The reason I keep doing videos anyway is that God has put a message inside of me to share with others — I refuse to be silent. This is a huge part of my WHY!

If you are struggling to get motivated to do the things you need to do, I have two tips for you to help you get motivated again.

1. Remember your WHY. If you’re struggling with being motivated, pause and think about what makes you feel alive. Think about what your WHY is. Get in touch with what is your heart.

2. Go somewhere new. Sometimes, just getting out of your normal element can get all your creative juices flowing. Getting into a new space can make everything start clicking. Sometimes all you need to do is get out of your house and it can make you feel like you can conquer the world again!

I wasn’t feeling motivated, so I decided to go somewhere new. We just got a new house (more on that later!!!) and I came over here today. Walking in here immediately motivated me. It’s a beautiful space, and just walking into it made me feel alive and creative again. My creative juices are totally exploding in this new house.

Maybe you just need to go to a new place so that you can feel motivated again!

Comment below and tell me a win that you’ve had today! Tell me how you’re getting motivated today!

  • You give me hope. I love watching your videos just wish I was as enthusiastic as you are. Everyone I watch that has a large turnout has such much enthusiasm and excitement that you want to watch them. Guess I am just not a people person. With that being said do you have any advice for me?
